Academic Activities 

As an academic and intellectual movement and in pursuance of its objectives, FEGOCTA has organized series of Academic activities. Some of the academic activities include organizing One Day National Seminar on “UGC Regulations on API: Methods and Procedures” on 10^th March, 2014 in partnership with Imphal College and N.G. College, Imphal, One Day programme on the “ Meet Editors and Special Correspondents of National Dailies” on higher education on 27^th December, 2014, Two Days National Seminar on “Transforming Higher Education in North East India’  9-10 May, 2015 with Thoubal College and Y.K. College, Wangjing ,  One Day Discussion on Higher Education Code from the Perspective RUSA and UGC, 7^th UGC ROP and Transformation of Higher Education on 15^th September, 2016 etc    

Representations to Government of India 

FEGOCTA submitted to (i) the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India for transforming higher education in Manipur, for the implementation of National Higher Education Policies of UGC Regulations, 2010 in Manipur (2) Ministry of Human Resources Development on the suggestions on New Higher Education Policy, on the 7^th UGC ROP etc 

Representations to Government of  Manipur  

(1) To Governor of Manipur for constitution of Higher Education Service, implementation of 6^th UGC ROP (2)  to Chief Ministers of Manipur for transformation of higher education in March, 2017, for complete salary to the Government College Teachers by inclusion of SCA and TA 15^th June, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014 etc  (3)  to the Hon’ble Education Ministers on 2^nd April, 2017, on 15^th May, 2017 etc on the various issues of higher education and college teachers

Representations to UGC and MU

(1) Request to UGC for recognition of research guideship to the undergraduate colleges teachers, suggestions on the 7^th UGC ROP etc  (2) for recognizing and allocating students to the undergraduate college teachers in Manipur.
